The Mason Scholarship Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by The Kiwanis Club of Mason in 1984.
The Annual Mason Kiwanis Golf Classic fundraiser was the original source of funding for the Foundation. Currently, the Mason Scholarship Foundation accepts gifts from individuals and organizations to fund the annual scholarships awarded to local graduating seniors in the Mason Ohio community. Donation amount of any size are greatly appreciated and are fully tax deductible.
Over 200 scholarships have been awarded over the 40+ years of the Mason Scholarship Foundation totaling nearly $715,000.
The Mason Scholarship Foundation awards a number of difference scholarships to encourage and support these students to reach their career goals. The Scholarships awarded include the following:
Four Year Renewable Scholarship (renewable to each of the four years of their degree program) – for students attending an accredited university or college to obtain a Bachelor’s degree
Four Year One-time Scholarship – for students attending an accredited university or college to obtain a Bachelor’s degree
Two Year Renewable Scholarship (renewable to each of the two years of their degree program)- for students attending an accredited university or college to obtain an Associates degree
Vocational Scholarship – for students attending an accredited program to obtain a professional certificate
